Erin Morgan Gilbert is a writer, translator, and teacher. Her essays, poems, and stories appear in publications such as AGNI, Brevity, and Structo Magazine. Currently living in Spain, in the past she has taught composition courses at Green River College, Spanish at the University of Washington, and creative writing workshops at Huge House in Seattle. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, her writing is informed by her working class background and profound respect for the oceans, lakes, and forests in which so many of her ancestors toiled endlessly and earned their livelihoods.
